Finding a good vet.
I'm in Alberta, Canada. Can anyone recommend a good vet in the Edmonton area?
Is finding a good vet hit and miss, or are most of them pretty good? A few pointers and maybe some questions to ask would be appreciated. Thanks. |

Unleash The Possibilities

Tag, finding a good vet is like finding a good doctor for yourself. Try to get a referral from other pet owners. If time allows, visit the vet clinic you are considering and observe. Is the staff knowledgable and HAPPY? Does the waiting room smell fresh? Meet the Dr. if you you can. Tour the facility if possible. If the vet is proud of ther clinic and time allows, he/she should be happy to show you around. You should feel comfortable and confident in the Dr.'s skills.
