Bumps to puppy's head
I have a 15 week old rat terrier pup. I've had her about 7weeks now and a week after I got her I noticed a raised bump on her head and on the inside of each ear that continued to grow. The ones in her ears eventually opened and have remained scabbed, never completely healing. After trying cortisone cream as directed by my vet the hair and top layer of the bump fell off! After another week the bump returned and no hair regrew in the spot so he removed the area to send to biopsy which we're still awaiting. A day after the surgery she got a new small bump in the area on her head that he shaved, within 4 days she had 6 new ones! He has me putting anti-fungal cream and Benadryl cream on them. We are both stumped and I am more than alittle anxious. They seem painless and don't weep. She does scratch but this may be at her stitches. Any ideas? I read that rat terriers are prone to allergies. I am switching her to a lamb and rice puppy chow since I have no other ideas. Please help!

Hmm, the safest guess I can make would be that it's allergies. Were you feeding her a food with corn in it? My friend's chihuahua has a very severe corn allergy and he got big lumps all over his belly due to eating science diet food (which is mostly corn kibble)
