Unhappy Fractured tooth :(

Hi! I am a 1 year old corgi, and I have a fractured tooth on one of the back molars.. just went to see the vet and she told me that i have to get it extracted. Mom and Pops are worried that this may not be the best option for me.. please help us weight the options, extraction versus root canal (which would cost mom and pops lotsa bones) or any other option... Please help!

Here's a pict that mom and pops took of my bad tooth

One of my dogs Lucky has to have his two bottom K-9 taken out (whats left of them, someone knocked them out). I personally think that you should have the tooth removed. Your pup will be fine with out it. It will cost you less and cost the dog less stress in my opinon. I've personally had both done to me (4 teeth pulled and 2 root canals) trust me root canal is long and not fun. Extraction is quick and easy.

Personally, I'd have it removed and be done with it. Your still a young pup with plenty of other teeth to make up for the one lost and not only will you heal faster but theres less chance for infection with the removal. jmo

Best of luck no matter what mom and dad decide and tell them Crossfire said your in dire need of another treat!
