Exclamation Poison Problems

We're worried about our puppy, Zoe. We're in a new development, so we need to spray for bugs. The company said that the poison is safe for dogs after it's dry. Well, our dog eats EVERYTHING in our backyard (leaves, wood, bugs...), and we think she ate something out there. It was after the poison was dry, but she's been kind of gagging (it sounds kind of like a cat with a hair ball) and vomiting every now and then. Do you think we should have her checked out? If it's nothing, then the money for the check-up is just wasted. If it's really something, then she could be in danger. What should I do????

Yes, call the vet if you think your dog might have gotten into poison! If it's nothing, it's nothing. The money for the check up won't be "wasted". It will have bought information and peace of mind. Often dogs that have been poisoned by pesticides drool heavily, so you might watch for that additional symtom.

My pest guy said the same thing, and Lucy has not had any reactions to eating EVERYTHING outside. I agree with flyndog about the money for the vet visit - you bought peice of mind.
