It's poison. Yes, call your vet. He may want to pump her stomach or maybe induce vomitting. How worrying. Was it one of those little bags they put in things to keep moisture out? Do you think most of the contents was on the floor? I hope he didn't ingest it. Let us know.

Oh good...glad to hear that. He probably didn't get any. Those things are really dangerous. I had a bag of beef jerky and I couldn't believe they put one of those in there! What if someone ate it by accident? I mean....that would be pretty unlikely, but I suppose if someone were drunk or something.....I can't believe they put it in a food item. And beef jerky doesn't need to be all dried out anyhow.
