If they are just a pet and not a show dog out to better the breed than the bitch should be spayed

actually most of my studies are dated 2001 - 2004 so I would suggest they are not out of date..... but thats ok you do what you want and you believe what you want...... but if you want to actually do the research.... let me know I will get you the citations.

and as I said earlier I to believe bitches should be spayed.... just not until after the first estrus cycle.

Actually, I'd be very interested in having that data Shalva if you could PM the info to me? When I switched out computers I lost all my good links to the newest info.

Yes and no, here again....
Well my sweety is not getting spayed, she is too good of a bitch to retire her.
But her one daughter we are keeping will be spayed, she will be a petdog, eventhough the vollhardtest was very promissing, too. but she was and will be supposed to be a petdog (well we still will be working with her, but she is not supposed to be a breeding bitch).
and i really do not want to intact bitches in the house. not from the same quality... that might backfire on me ;-)
