Booda Bones Dental Chews

My wife just bought our dogs Velvet Gnarly Dental Chews by Booda. My question is, are these safe for the dogs to eat? I have not been able to find any information on the net suggesting that they are/are not. One would think that since they are designed to clean teeth they would be safe (other than the big pieces they bite off which can get loged in their throats. Any info would be greatly apprecitated. Thanks.

I use Booda Bones on occasion, the dogs seem to like them but I've never allowed them to chew them unsupervised. When they get too small I throw them away. Just like with any chewable I think there is always a risk though. jmo

Yes, I do the same as crossfire. Supervised Chewing and throw them away once they get too small. I've found that the best chew toy in the world is marrow bones - raw (cooked will cause them to splinter which can be dangerous to the dogs). She loves them, even after the meat and marrow is gone.
