Pencil Eating

Hi Everyone,

Thank you for all of your help with our daughter in laws dog. He does not have ear mites they are not exactly sure of what it was but he is doing great.

We have a 5 mth old boxer that is getting ready to teeth. When I was gone my husband said that she got a pencil and was chewing it to pieces. He thought she was chewing on her bone but decided to go and check. Any way we weore wondering if we should take her to a vet or not. I know that pencil's are no longer made with lead but we are not sure if there are any other dangers from the paint or wood.

Thank you again everyone

Your pup should be fine...just monitor for any vomiting, diarrhea, lethargy, etc, and if you are like most nervous puppy parents ring the vets line to get their opinion on it as well!

Thanks for the help. We were worried, not knowing what it would do and how it would effect her. We will keep watching her. Thank you again.
