Question Turkey necks...

Can I feed my kids the neck from the Thanksgiving turkey? If so how do I prepare it?
I can't wait to make a nice little plate for thier Thanksgiving dinner...

raw is fine.

however, i would hesitate to cut them - too tiny and your dogs will be tempted to swallow them whole. if they have never had any raw things, then i wouldnt start on something they could easily swallow whole!

I cook the turkey neck up for my girls then take the meat off the bone. They love it.
Then I cook veggies in the Gel and they love that too.
Did you know that turkey meat is better than chicken for your animals?
Reason being they cant give turkeys the antibiotics they give to chickens so the meat is more pure

Cooked bones splinter and the sharp pieces can get lodged in the throat, stomach or intestines.

good point doberkim
I remember giving Emma a chicken neck (uncut) I told wayne to watch her and he took his eyes off her for a minute and I turned around to see her toppling sideways

Experience is sure a great teacher and fortunately Emma also learnt not to be so greedy
