Paris Hilton ditches beloved Tinkerbell because she grew

Paris gives Tinkerbell the ol' heave-ho

You'd better sit down for this one.

In a shocking scandal that would not be news any other month but August — when frankly nothing else is going on — Paris Hilton has split with her teacup Chihuahua, Tinkerbell.

The miniature mutt has been callously replaced with a smaller version called Bambi.

"[Paris] only likes them when they're very small, and Tinkerbell got too big," a pal told New York magazine.

The former A-list animal companion has been sent to live with Hilton's mother, Kathy.

Tinkerbell made world headlines last summer when Hilton was photographed distributing lost-dog posters around West Hollywood, only to be reminded she had left the pup with her grandmother.

While comparable canines usually cost between $2,000 and $3,000, Tinkerbell's bloodline commands upwards of $10,000.

A rep for Tink's breeder, *Texas Teacups, explains: "Tinkerbell is at the larger end of the teacups. Usually, they won't go over 31/2 pounds, but if you fix them or feed them junk. ..."

Paris' fiancé, Paris Latsis, should take note.

How sick is that! A dog gets too big so you no longer want it! And, they get big if you fix them? Way to advocate not speutering..

What do you expect from someone sharing the same brain cell with at least four different people.

Crossfire, you hit the nail on the head! I wonder if her fiance will replace her if she get to big? Surprised her head still goes through
the door.
I sure hope the little fellow can find a loving home!

She's not with her finacé anymore and this story is a load of crap.

Not that I'm doubting that she's an irresponsible owner who thinks of her dog as a fashion accessorie...and I know she has a new pup. But she didn't dump it because it got too big.
The media just like to add a stupid story to it to make it sound outrageous.

Ok..can we have these people arrested for saying that. That simple line will now stop HUGE numbers of people from fixing their pets so they don't 'get too big'. Not too mention all the rubbish about "teacups" again.

Her "line" commands upwards $10,000?? She bought her from a puppymill. People who care less about bloodlines than anyone on the planet. *tears hair out in frustration*

Cass.

Some movie stars these days- they look at a dog the same way they look at there shoes- so sickning and stupid. I agree that she got the poor pup from a puppy mill or similar but smaller status(BYB). The breeder of Tinker Bell must not know a thing cause I never heard of a dog getting bigger due to being fixed- I've heard about gaining weight but never growing bigger to be over breed standards- thats the funniest thing I've heard yet. No wait- the funniest thing I've heard was a person breeding mini Labs- now that takes the cake !!! Some people these days
