Thumbs down OH! Gag Me With a Spoon!

Regarding: "Lucky's Travels" on the Animal Planet Channel:

When will things stop going from bad to worse! This show is the total pits! (insert barfing smilie here)

First we have Paris Hilton, (nuf said!), then we have The Tyra Banks Show hocking Puggles as the latest "fashion accessory", and now we have a dog being basically used as a "prop" for this pretentious, whiney voiced woman to parade around pretending to visit hot spots around LA, which cater to dogs.

What's going on here people?! This is possibly THE most shallow show, "loosely" framed around pets, that I've ever seen! This gal was so not into her dog, and into herself, that she bumps him in the head with her arm while "gesturing" as she is talking, and doesn't even notice.

Where did the lady and her "dog-prop" go? To a Pet Psychic who stated the obvious for one. Oh, then off to the boutique so we can dye our dog's head to match our outfit and doggie tote bag.

The only redeming quality to this show, were the places they showed which were "dog friendly". Nice listings...pretty writing.

Oh, where are we headed? I'm ready to leave "Shallowland", and set sail to "The Global Paw Isle", on the next boat...and then sink the boat!

Have I ever mentioned how much I appreciate you guys? Well, I'm sayin' it now!

I feel lucky too, I haven't heard of the show. Lets hope it doesn't cross the ocean and grace Australian TV.

Cass.

Animal Planet isn't that good considering its Animal Planet. The only things I watch on there anymore are the dog shows, Jeff Corwin, and some of the Breed All About It shows. They seem to have too many animal cop shows and shows that are mostly computer generated animals. Its turned into a mini Discovery channel.

Poor dog. Did they at least go to reasonably priced places that normal people could afford? I saw a show similiar to that awhile back and they went to crazy expensive places.

I had to turn it off after the first five minutes. Total waste of time, and I can't think of -anything- constructive to say about it. The fashion gurus on those makeover shows are a little less into themselves than this lady is. LOL.

The show really does SUCK ! A girl from NY traveling with her little foo foo Maltese looking thing ( though she is cute, no offense to little dogs) Some of the shows on animal planet are STUPID! Has anyone seen K9 Karma? A women who does yoga with her dog and owns her own doggy yoga shop ridiculous! The only thing I watch on AP are Animal Cops, Love it! I love to see people pay for mistreating animals, Crocodile hunter and some of the other shows. Just my three CENTS!

I love the animal cop shows. I think it is good they bring that abuse stuff out in the open. Too many people bury their heads in the sand and pretend it doesn't exist. PLUS I love when an animal gets out of a bad situation and has a happy ending

As for the Lucky show, I watched 10 minutes and then turned the channel. Too bad we don't have a vomit smilie on here LOL Just what we need...more people treating their animals like objects!

I only saw a little bit of it, but after seeing some lady (I know who she is, but can't remember her name - Lucky Diamond's owner), walking her maltese around in a pink sweater, I felt there was going to be stuff I didn't want to see.
