Cesar Millan's second season of "The Dog Whisperer"

Well, looks like it's time to dust off the old flamesuit!

The second season of Cesar Millan's "The Dog Whisperer" series, on The National Geographic channel, premiers in the USA on January 6th.

Personally, I can't wait! Although somewhat controversial, I have found his basic philosophies on dog psychology, leadership, and owner education, to be right on the mark.

But, to each his own...do what you feel works best for you and your dog.

I am so with you RBW, he makes excellent judgment calls. Also I love how he encourages exercise first. He also points out how most of our dogs behavioral "problems" are based on our human error.

Although we've only seen a couple of episodes down here *throws rotten eggs at her TV channels* I really like the show. And aside from my old objections (no follow ups and he's not great at explaining things) I look forward to seeing more of his show.
Fingers crossed they actually decided to get off their butts and air it down here properly.

OMG! I love that show! I got to stay home today and watch reruns of it (had to watch my brother), I was happy! lol Yeah, I won't see the first show though, (grrr, going to the horse farm!)

Yeah it is interesesting even though i still have some points, where i have to question it, but he really gets the people going and doing something with the dogs, I really find the people quite interesting, who have the problems with the dog, or create the problems for the dog. it is almost ,more interesting then the resolutions he gives, soemtimes I think the owners should go for some training, get back to reality or something....

does it come in the morning again???

Isn't this how we first met on the forum?

I think his show is now going to be in primetime, at 8:00 where I live on the West Coast, and is also now an hour long.

Yes, I love what he says to the owners. Priceless!

i should be home when it comes on and done with the chores, too.
i fliped through and I guess here it is at 7cetral here..., but I have seen there is a nother hopefully interesting report about Designer dogs at six,, i hope they put some though to it.....
looks like a TV afternoon for me.....

If you have on demand, you can watch a lot of currently offered programs any time you want! Have you tried to use it, yet?

No I haven't, I don't watch to much TV, and i am not sure if we subscribed it.
We already pay a s***load for super dish so i can get my german channels.
I would have to ask my hubby when he comes home, wich i really don't know when that is... I think it is tomorrow afternoon.
But that would be nice, have actually chores but I can move them....

Well I have to admit that time it is really better, a lot of explanaitions and follow ups. i really liked that....
And you can see in the same show how some of the dogs are doing, after some time....

that adds a plus!

Yes! Great episode to be sure.

I'm glad he did a follow up on "Demon Nunu"!

The new dog, Bandit, with what I call "lap dog kill zone" issues, was a good one, as this is a fairly common problem with small, lap sitting dogs, to varying degrees.

Once again, his insight and "training" of the owners, is so right on...I think I'll have to catch it again later tonight!
