Excellent article and very interesting. It is long but is so interesting that you can't stop reading it. This article hold's alot of truth, banning the breed is the easy way out instead of irresponsible owners being fined,fined,fined and taking necessary precautions so that there dogs won't be a liability. But NO punish the poor dog who wasn't taught right from wrong or socialized

I've read that before but it's a really good article, well worth a second read.
In Alberta our BSL is pretty ridiculous it requires pit mixes to wear muzzels when they're outside of their fenced yards but pure bred pitbulls are exempt. The liscensing fees are higher as well. Luckily there has been no movement towards an actual breed ban from what I know of anyway.
