I'm sick!!!! I wonder if that sort of thing is going on here in the States now! I'm sure it would be the same cover-up if it is. Our government would be getting something out of it just like Parliment.
What is wrong with people. I thought humans were born with a conscience!! What planet do "things" like that come from anyway. Now I must check into this too. Seems like just as soon as we start once crusade, another problem shows itself. The world seems to be a lot more horrible than I thought.

That's pretty sickening, if it turns out to be true...which it sounds like the guy is admitting to doing it. Absolutely disgusting. They should ban those trainers for life for knowingly carting their dogs off to that kind of death.

I know little to nothing about the state of racing in the UK or elsewhere in the world. In this country, some ex-racers are euthanized still but its done by injection (as far as I know).

I read some where that some one found some gray hounds in the back of a track(in the dumpster), they were beaten and shot to death (if I remember correctly). This was here in the US too, just can't remember which state(it was a while back). Its pretty sick that some people do this to these poor dogs, its inhumane and just sick.

I would be very shocked by that. Greyhounds are usually hauled to a vet or to a farm to be euthanized. I can not imagine they would do it at a track unless it was an injured or sick dog that needed to be put down immediately to alleviate suffering...they certainly would not be shooting dogs and beating them to death at the track. Nope...I don't think so. I went back through three years of news articles and press releases compiled by an anti-racing group and could find nothing remotely like what you describe.

Could be you are remembering a different kind of greyhound killing...Greyhounds found shot, possibly mutilated and dumped are usually the victims of coyote hunters who use the dogs to chase down coyotes and shoot them or dump them when they are of no more use to them.
