dog massacre in China

Hello guys , I 'm a Chinese citizen ,i live in BeiJing ,yeah , 2008 Olympic will be held here . but we got a situation here , our goverment are killing dogs !!! all the dogs which their height of shoulder is over 35 centimeters will be killed . no matter what kind of dogs ,huski , collie , saint bergnard ....billions of dogs will be killed ,of coz , goverment has a reason , it's for 2008 Olympic Game !! and they say dog bite people . we dont know how to do , millions of doglover in China got heartbreaks . the police rush to our house ,take the dogs ,and punch them to death ,it's a crimal ,and a shame for Chinese goverment, we are all exasperation.
the goverment ask us to pay lot money to keep a dog,but they never do anything useful with our money ,where is our money ????
we need you help from other country !!!
I'm weeping day and night.....

Unfortunately I can believe this of the chinese government

However if anyone came to harm my animals I would shoot to kill so Im not much help.
From previous things I have fought against with China I know it just doesnt help the situation.
I am so sorry for you and all the thousands of dog lovers over there.

I would like to know the news update in China abt the dogs massacre..
are they still doing it? In which states? isnt there anyway to stop them? i Wish the gov. will take notice of its ppl and stop thier cruel acts at once.

pls. reply.. im dying to know abt the real news.

I just saw this evening on the Nightly News (NBC) this very thing. People were going underground to hide from the ones that were only allowing one pet per family and some were going way out into the country to escape the city because of this. I heard that some 50,000 had been euthanized by the authorities. This was in Beijing.

When I was working at one of the local Nuclear Plants, there was a fellow from China that lived close by, a contractor like myself, and he told me or worse horror stories than this about the authorities only allowing boys in a family...maybe one girl. Any other girls were destroyed. That came from the "horses mouth", so to speak. He said, "I'm not talking about 1950...this is now". That was told to me back in 1992.

I don't think i have heard anything positive about the Chinese government ever! I think they should be truely ashamed of them selves. I wonder how they react when they are personally put in the situations they have banned? Makes you wonder.
Chinesedoglover have you any idea how other countries could help? has anything been mentioned about a resolution to this? I hope you personally are not effected by this horrible act!!!

Racism? I'm thinking ANIMALS, here!!! Sorry if you think I'm dredging up old news, but I have just signed up to this site, and just heard of these atrocities, now. absolutely no intention of racism, here. I have been a pet owner since I could walk and have been a nurse for 30 years. I have a lot of compassion for all living things!

well isn't that golly, can't the powers that be realize theres NOTHING wrong with dogs at all, and i wish they'd stop making 60 % of their products sent to the usa become bad things that throw people into hospiitals and possible 6 feet under

*grumble* maybe someone should take a stand for this, make it known how stupiid they're being
