I am a girl from China,and i should say my english is not very good. So i try my best to express my meaning exactly.

ther is an event happening in china from July this year --- dog slaughter. Govenment kill ten thousands of dogs only in two or there days,because the govenment said dogs brings rabies to human.from the govenment report,rabies have made some people die,so they will kill all of the dogs in the certain area including the healthy dogs .In some big cities,such as beijing ,or shanghai,people who were employed for dog killing crushed into residence house,pulling out their lovely dogs and kill the dogs by very brutal ways in face of the dog's keeper. A lot of pet keepers hope the goverment can give up this terrible policy ,but the goverment never think about the voice from the people and keeping killing the dogs,no matter the dogs are sick or healthy(actually,in cities most of the dogs are healthy)

in china dog should get the certificate card .if you have no this card ,dog keeping is forbidden. so as a dog keeper ,you should pay at least 1000yuan per year to the goverment(the fee is different in different areas).also,in beijing ,there is a very ridiculous policy:the dog 's height should be less than 35cm,otherwise,the dogs cannot get the certificate card,and should be killed as fast as quickly.in one family,one dog is allowed,more is forbidden.

i cannot say the goverment is right or not,but the dogs are so lovely that i cannot stand dog slaughter. i have 3dogs in my home,one lead a vagrant life before,and then it came to my home. i donnot know how to express my feeling to these lovely angel,but i do know,dogs are human's friend but enemy.

writing down this words is not a easy thing for me,i hope many many overseas people can read it.now my youngest and smallest dog is lying on my leg, sleeping

I have heard of this, but I've heard of it in the Phillipines (and they eat the dog as well as cats). There is actually a website that tells about this sort of thing. It's horrible what they do to these animals. I know it's their culture, and I probably wouldn't mind it as much if they only did it humanely. They told a story of a dog that was being sold.. they broke its legs and tied them up behind their back (keep in mind a dogs legs don't bend this way) and shoved a rusty can over the dogs muzzle to keep it from biting.
