Unfortunately, there's lots of bums like that in city positions. I was a little surprised to see a city the size of Chicago with that problem, but politics is politics. It's unfortunate that she's now going to work with the elderly, another group that can't defend itself.

I normally have to stay clear of the threads with these news things about abuse, but this title didn't look too creepy. Then I read it. I just can't handle some of this.

Gosh!!

I heard of one case...a shelter stopped taking strays so another shelter got them all and was asking desperately for people to adopt otherwise they would have to euthanize lots of their animals. Of course that's nothing like this one, LOL.

What happened?!?! The link expired; I couldn't find the story!! Just from the title, I have to agree with Carrie; anything that says "abuse" tends to annoy me...I'd do worse than power wash her, though; I say let her experience what those dogs went through!!

I still can't get it...it says that those stories stay up there for 7 days, and then something about archives. Oh well, if I read it, I'd just get really mad, anyway!!
