Bizarre mystery surrounds over 7000 exported dogs
by Rob Jeffs
It's become a bizarre mystery as to just where around 7000 dogs exported to Singapore from Australia between 2004-2006 have gone.
The number of dogs sent to this tiny country from Australia comes only second to those exported to the entire United States. And yet no one knows where they ended up or if they do they are remaining very tight lipped.

Anyone have more info on this? This sounds pretty fishy to me....

About 5,500 dogs are imported into Singapore annually. Of these, puppies imported for commercial purpose account for 85-90% while personally-owned pet dogs account for the remaining 10-15%. Some 95% of the commercially imported puppies are from Australia. The AVA estimates that 80% of all dogs sold as pets in Singapore are imported from overseas.

They have a lot to learn about disease prevention, it's like winning the lotto, more tickets you buy the better your chances....some people never learn.
