Shmee you crack me up LOL I love the nard's bit you wrote...too funny and a great visual.
I want Star and Bill to win for sure. They seem like such a great team. I have never done any art with my dogs. Well I mean I have done art of my dogs but not having my dogs do art. I thought it was odd how they judged them on the art they did. Although they were right in choosing the pom and his owner cause they didn't do anything til the last minute. Beth Joy is a spaz and a half. She makes for good tv though. JD thinks he has this in the bag and I sure hope he gets proved wrong. At first I kinda liked that team cause they work well together but JD is too big headed about it all. Sadly I hope there is not a season 2. I mean I love watching shows about dogs but I'm not to sure about this kind. |

I thought it was funny how the cute boxer guy turned on the Pom gal(she was a naughty girl) in the drop of a hat, pay attention girls. I think he was a little niave for her anyways, good thing for him he's nice to look at.
Most of the time I really dislike BethJoy like people, those that let their emotions compeltly control their reactions and run their lives, pull it together woman! With that said I do think she did well with the art and I think she was being honest about Bellastar and her front paw sensitivity. But yea I still really dislike ehr and she is very veyr anoying No the show isn't great but I'm up for any show about dogs on TV we can get, it' slim pickins out there with only like 1-2 shows on cable even, so in my case beggars can't be choosers. As far as JD and Galaxy I don't mind them to much he's a pompass *** and his laugh is sooooo anoying it makes me crazy, but I expect as much with people like that. I really ike BIll and Star too but also I like Leroy and whatver his owners name is, she seems like a pretty down to earth real world kinda Gal(that could seriously use some more dog training experience and patients), which I really really like. Did anyone else see the previews for next week? looks like we might have a clash between the judges next week, its pretty obvious the 2 women and have varying opinions on the various contestants. |

Praise be to the all the Gods of Universe!!!!! BethJoy and BellaStarlet are GONE!!!! WoooooHoooo!!
![]() ![]() :Clappi ng:![]() I really liked the puppy wrangle/maze task they were given to complete. As much as I don't like JD/Galaxy combo, I have to admit, they did handle it best, even if Victoria (the priss) Stillwell didn't approve. Loved the catfight on the dogshow with Stillwell and the other lady. I thought for a minute they were going to go at it and roll around ripping one another's clothes off and then....err, maybe a show called "Greatest American Dog" isn't quite ready something like that yet eh? God knows I am. Anyway, personal life aside... I was kind of shocked that Bill pushed Starr as hard as he did. The dog was clearly not comfortable in what she was doing and didn't appreciate the puppies nipping her heels. I guess it's going to come down to Teresa and Leroy and the JD/Galaxy robot. I don't think Bill/Starr are going to pass muster on the upcoming challenges . Very sweet how much he loves his wife. Wish I had one that loved me that much...Anyhow, all in all, I was VERY satisfied with this week's epi. Waiting til next week for the next installment -Shmee |

I was sitting on the couch with the TV tuned to the show, but I was also on my laptop...and all of a sudden a hear the judges start yelling about something and I look up and they are doing everything but jumping across the poor judge in the middle and strangling each other. LOL I know they were arguing about training techniques, but what in the WORLD started it? I wasn't paying attention. Wish I had been now. Its not too often you see heated discussions like that outside a dog forum.
![]() Ya, I'm glad that woman's gone as well...she drove me batty. I liked the challenge too, but I suppose in my mind I was thinking this...."Don't you want your dog to IGNORE other dogs and listen to you?" So take the Boxer for instance. He didn't bat an eye at the puppies and took off towards his owner who was telling him to "Come". I don't know about you, but I'd rather have a dog that would come running towards me leaving puppies behind whenever I hollered than a dog that would rather interact with the pups. But that's just me. And since I'm rooting for the Boxer (and his owner ) as well...the Boxer did go looking for the puppies when his owner told him to. I thought that was cute. It just happened a little too late. And I swear he got stuck with the dud puppies. |

Ritz,
Wendy Diamond was praising JD/Galaxy robot's training techniques and Victoria Stillwell interupts her mid-sentence and protests JD's techniques and how an alpha-trainer is EVIL (basically) and everything kind of blew up from there... As far as Travis and Pressley go?? Umm ladies, I hate to disappoint you all, but from the way I've seen Travis act around the ladies and the way he was crying when he was talkin to his momma?? I get the feeling he'd prefer the company of another guy. He threw that hottie Lauren and her lil'mutt under the bus faster than you can say, "Greenie" and she was digging him!!! Lauren was literally throwing herself at Pressley IN THE BEDROOM and the ambiguous one named Travis couldn't put 2+2 together??? Come on!! So, to summ it all up.... Let us say that Travis would rather sleep with his dog than another woman (being that this is a G-rated forum). JD making whatever bond he made with the young retrievers was genius regardless of how he trains his robot dog. The idea of making him pause to makesure the puppies were following was the key to the show. I think Teresa was abit lucky that all the dogs cameout when Leroy did. I mean it worked, so Kudo's to her and Leroy. JD's technique was simply smoother and more polished. Helping Travis find his "special purpose" -Shmee |

Sounds about right Ritz, JD uses Ceasar's training. I kinda thought Stillwell was from that school of thought as well no?? It was confusing to me really (not like that's hard to do). I've seen her assume dominant positions in her "It's Me or the Dog" shows prior to GAD, so i'm not really sure about what she trains anymore. Wendy Diamond was all apologetic after the commercial break and made up with Stillwell. As far as the guy in the middle of the 2 queen-B's??? Well.... Ever see the old Muppets show??? Need I say more??

Well Victoria is all Positive she does not use any physical corrections and Galaxy's owner does. She mentioned she did not like that and the other woman said "your way isn't the only right way" and went on and on and made victoria tear up.
