This is why I wish everyone would treat their pets as pets and not raise and encourage them to be killers so the owner looks "cool".

That's just terrible! People that raise their dogs to be aggressive (or for fighting etc) should definitely be punished themselves.

I see people raising their dogs to be tough and mean in NYC all the time. It's part of ghetto thug culture to have the biggest, most muscular, meanest looking dog you possibly can and to train it to be aggressive. I once saw a kid bring a pit bull into the dog run I was in, chain it to the fence, and started spraying it with the hose (it was a pretty cold day too). When the dog started to whimper he slapped it saying "yo, don't be soft, don't be soft". The dog was barking pretty frantically by the end of it. We banned him from the run. Many drug dealers in NYC get pit bulls and train them to fight. It's just part of their sick culture unfortunately.

I'm sorry but any scum of the earth that needs a dog like this feel "cool" or "bad" deserves to be shot and used for somthing useful like dog food or compost.
