Good grief, I wish I would've heeded your warning. That was such a good story!! I cried so much, especially at the ending.... Wow.

Did you see the link to the pics of Jonah? He was so beautiful and sweet, it makes me wonder how someone could harm a creature like that. It just makes me sick.

Thanks for sharing that, it definitely was worth reading.

OMG that is so sad.....I was teary toward the end.....but this was just what I was looking for....I'm going to start a chain email about the Pitbulls and BSL and this will be perfect in it....thanks for sharing..... And I'l say what I've been wanting to say for a long time: And they call Pit Bulls the killers? I'd say the people are the killers are the humans.

so sad

some one showed this article to me over here in the uk, i cried like a baby. pitbulls are illegal over here, but i have one and he is the sweetest thing, he gets on so well with my 5 northern inuits and every one loves him, but we have totally ignorant morons who only want them for fighting or because they think they look so macho, they make me seethe. its a real shame as most apbt's ive met are great.

This story really hit home as to how horrible humans are. I say this at least once a day, "I hate people" It drives my family and friends crazy, but it's stories like these that give me the prove I need.

I am so glad to learn that there are people out there that care and understand and dog is what you make it. A dog is family, no matter how it came to be part, it's family.

Thank you so much for sharing that story, and I have to say I would like to meet this Jeff guy and give him a taste of his medicine.

For those of you that have Pitties, you should may copies of that story and carry them with you every where you go. Have them in the car also. Give them to anyone who doesn't know much about the breed. Could help.

My eyes are a blurr reading that long artical. I meant to say "make" copies.
I do believe it could help this misunderstood breed by handing them to everyone you come in contact with who either doesn't understand them.

I can't stop crying about this story, it really touched my heart and I feel like me and this pitbull have made a connection even after he's been put down, because january 23rd is my birthday. This goes to show that even the most abused and hurt animal can become your best friend in the whole world. I have been saying it forever to everyone I know who doesn't like pitbulls that it isn't there fault I have even changed some minds but with this story today I will change some more I just know I will.

I thank you very much for posting this it has really helped to brighten up my day even through the tears that I know cry. Right now my family is going through some hard times and it helps me to read the stories of those who have been helped out. My love goes out to jonah and his family and I hope that this story will help change peoples outlook on pitbulls, thanks again for posting this wonderful story!
