Has anyone read any of Susan Conant's "dog lover's mysteries"? They are wonderful. I am on my second,"The Barker Street Regulars" and she's written about 13 including titles such
as, Evil Breeding," "Stud Rites," and "Bloodlines." The main character of her books is a writer, Holly Winter, and her two malamutes, Rowdy and Kimi. Anyway, try to read one sometime, they're great!

I'll have to look into them! I'm a big reader, and I've been looking for some new books to read.
(I'm going to read the adult "Left Behind" series, and I've also fallen in love with this "Chip Hilton" series. And since it is a sports series, that is kinda ironic, because I don't like sports so much. That must tell you how good the books are! lol

)

That series is addicting. I read the 10 books that were out two summers ago, and I think I finished those in a week and a half (?) and then I had to wait a whole 2 years for the last two to come out

LOL Peanuts, no kidding. I read the kids version (it consists of 40 books, I think...) and I couldn't put them down. I'd go and get the two new books, and then I'd have them read in about a day! lol
So now I'm going to read the adult version, since my mom says they are good, and I have nothing else to read. lol

I have read most of Susan's books--the only thing I dislike about her is she repeats herself too much--about AKC rules and all that. Another good dog mystery writer is Laurie Berenson and she shows poodles in real life. I read all the Left Behind books and they were just excellent. Minta
