Pitbull shot in Boston! Another dumb owner!
Just before rush hour foot traffic in Boston, Mass. (downtown crossing) a man walking his pitbull was approached by two police officers because his dog was not muzzled. The owner dropped the leash and the dog went on the attack biting one of the officers arms and locking on. Once he released he then went at the other officer and both drew their guns and shot at the dog one missed and one hit the dog. The dog took off running and was finally caught and the owner was brought into custody. The dog was still alive and was taken to the MSPCA in Boston, but I'm sure it will be euthanized because of another idiot owner
Boston has yet to ban the breed but they do ask to muzzle the dogs when out in public, post signs at your house if you own a pit, license them, neuter and spay them and only two pits per household. Pretty strict huh? ![]() |

strict enough if it's only pit bulls that are being targeted.

Fuzzbutt attack

Why in the WOLRD did this idiot person have his dog attack the cops?!? I blame that on the person...not the dog! I hope the media focusus more on the guy to dropped the leash and broke the law than the poor Pittie...it probably won't though.
![]() I wouldn't be to worried about the regulations listed above (the muzzling thing might worry me though...and seem unfair...but if it lets me keep my dog...), but saying that you have a Pit in your home I would NOT want to do. I mean, who knows what kind of trouble that might bring. (Especially from idiot people who hate Pits and might want to kill/hurt/torment your dog, or torment/bug/threaten you because you own one.) But then again, I probably would...to keep my dog. But if somebody owns a killer Chihuahua that attacks you every time you go by there house, would they have to post a sign to? No. That just ticks me off. ![]() |

I saw this on the news last night. That is exactly the type of person that should never be allowed to own any dog again. What a stupid man.
Boston has had a lot of pit bull attacks in the last few years. I wonder how many people actually liscense them there any more. |
