The most frightening thing was hearing the call for assistance go out and then seeing the car as I pulled up, the last time I went out for one was a few years back and the officer ( a very good long time friend of mine ) was killed. The thought of saying goodbye to two more friends was not a pleasant one.
We're so thankful that they both made it through this....if miracles are possible this certainly was one!  By the way, the dog has been released from the clinic and is at home with his handler getting fat and sassy on leftover turkey!  |
