Decembers Picture Contest
'Let it Snow, Let it Snow, Let it Snow"

Post Pictures of your dogs with snow.


You may upload your pictures into the Picture Gallery

- Select Upload Photos
- Select the picture you would like to submit
- Make sure you change the Category To "Member Contest- December"

Only one submission per member will be accepted.

All Pictures not fitting the theme for November will be moved out of the contest.


At the end of the month we will select 10 Pictures to vote from

Is there any way that we can change the theme a bit? Not everyone lives in an area that gets a lot of snow (or any at all). I'm afraid that our Southern dogs will get shut out of this one.

We do understand that not all of our members are from the same area and seasons may be different, we do our very best to try and include everyone throughout the different months of our contests. Unfortunately we can not make everyone happy all of the time. There will be plenty of opportunities in the future to enter the contest. The Theme changes every month.
This particular contest is set for snow however next months contest may be very different. It would be difficult at best to make every month fit every persons individual seasons and dogs. This is why we try to choose different themes from month to month.

The snow doesn’t necessarily have to be real snow. I know there are products a lot of people use that looks like snow or is meant to represent snow. If lack of real snow is the case and you really want to enter the contest I will allow “fake” snow to be used.

Aww it's summer here (not that it even snows here when it is winter)! Guess I'll leave this one for now, and enter for next month. I thought a dress-up theme would have been good, or just anything to do with christmas.

For those without snow you can always make your own. One of the best "snow" pics I have of my bullies was taken in August, we laid out a box full of those packaging peanuts over the top of a white sheet, put a santa hat on Drew and laid a few Xmas stockings about. The pic turned out soooo good! Taken for a little distance and you couldn't tell it was anything other than Christmas time.

We had a dressed up theme two months ago, its a little soon to do it again.
As for christmas, we decided to leave any and all religion out of the contest.

I have to add one more rule to the contest. Props are allowed (i.e. fake snow) however photoshoped or other wise altered pictures are not allowed.

Do you have the same picture on your computer? When you hit the upload button and then the browse button, look for your picture on your computer. Then click on it and hit submit... Let me know if that works.
I think the problem is with Photobucket right now. I couldn't upload a url from there last month.
