Racing Greyhounds - Pictures
I went to the dog track yesterday to watch the matinee races, and I thought I'd share some pictures with you guys. It's just fascinating to watch these guys run, and I'm trying my darndest to capture their beauty, power, and determination in a photograph.

No flames, please. If you don't agree with the subject, no problem. Just look at the pictures for art's sake.

Great pictures, you got the power thing, but maybe next time bring their back legs more into it.

The one with Flying Symphony again looks so powerful, like all its muscles are in full gear.

Wow, what great pictures and the last one is amazing. Greys are my second most favorite breed, got to love them. I had a chuckle when I noticed they were chasing a huge stuffy bone.

Excellent photos! Show us pictures next time you go . I love the last one where all of the dogs have their eyes on the toy. The airborne Greyhound reminds me of a picture I snapped of Kallie having a between-the-fence race with our neighbor's lab when we lived in Anchorage.

Those shots of the red female Flying Symphony make me imagine what my Pumpkin might have looked like back in the day. Her backyard gambols today are a far cry from AA at Wheeling Downs, but at 10 one would expect that. Symphony could easily pass for Punkie's daughter.

Amazing! Hopefully I'll get to go pick up some hounds in Birmingham soon and get catch the matinee races! Of course, my pictures never turn out 1/4 as nice as yours!
