This is my family


This is from last years pet rescue benifit. We've been going for about 5 years now & it totally fun for everyone! I have these done each year. One group & one daughter with a dog. I think they are way better than school pictures. De'ja is 14 & Kia is 12.


This DaKota at a German Shepherd barbque.
We got her when she was 1 1/2 yrs. now she is 7 yrs. old. Very emaciated & abused.
The people were getting ready to take her & drop her off one the highway. She is our sunshine girl. Since having her, I have learned ALOT about German Shepherds & yes, it took me 2 years to research her pedigree! With alot of fun doing it.


This is our Glitzie girl. 2 1/2 yrs. We got her last May. She boarded
alot where I work at. The family goes away very often. They thought
we'd be a great home for her. We don't go away often. She was 10 lbs over weight & not much training. She is just a love bug. I never owned a small dog before. What a BIG difference! My daughter Kia took her on a dog walk this past Saturday. They brought home a small trophy for the youngest dog there. That totally made Kia's day!


Salem, hey, what to say about the coolest dude? He too is a rescue. We got him just after DaKota. He came from the animal shelter. He thinks he is a dog too. When he first came here, he picked Kia as his person. He will wait for the bus with her & meet her after school.

These are just a few of our pets. We also have a rescued Cockateil &
a Betta fish, Kia has kept alive so far for 4 years!
The only one we haven't rescued is Pika. A cockatiel my mother had & gave to my girls for Christmas.
