Meet Checkers and Cheyenne (picture heavy!)
Time to properly introduce the pups.... Cheyenne is my old lady at 10 years now.. I have owned her since Feb 1996 and the shelter estimated at that time that she was about 3 months old. Nobody has any clue what kind of mix she could be.. though there has been a lot of speculation that she has coyote in her because of the way she moves. She is still doing very well, although her back does "go out" on occasion and it is quite painful for her. Normally an hour or two of my hubby massaging her and she is all better again.... not to mention how much she loves all the extra attention. She is and always has been my serious girl. Even as a puppy she was never "puppyish". Learned all of her commands by 4 months old and has been perfect ever since! Here she is!





She was a tree climber in her younger years!


Even serious girls have to relax sometimes!


She definitely approved of the guy mom picked to be her dad!

Checkers is my corgi pup... he will turn one year old on Saturday! He has been a wonderful addition to our family and never fails to make us laugh!

I love your pics! Your Cheyenne reminds me of my pup Kona--at least in her coloring. Kona is part rott/shepherd and golden (or so they told me...she has a little mohawk that reminds of a ridgeback, but no mention of that in her genetic line!

Checkers looks like such a character...I can see why he keeps you laughing!

They're both so cute. I have a dalmatian named Checkers also, a she. Checkers is about 11 (maybe 12, I'm sometimes wrong. )now, in this she may be 10.


(She looks kind of weird in this one, its all I have. Oh well.)
