My friends two Yorkies

My friend who is dyeing from bone cancer has two Yorkies, male and female. I went over and spent from 10:00 am to 4:00 pm with her and took these two pictures of her babies. It was just too sad to see how changed these two pupsters are. The boy, who is so sweet was always doing his "own" thing and was a daddy's boy, is now laying at her feet ALL the time, doesn't eat much and will NOT let her out of his sight. The female who was always such a momma's girl, following her around constantly and slept by her head on the pillow at night, is now staying totally away from her, wont eat much and cuddles at night with the husband instead. I was torn up over how these poor little critters are feeling. I'm going to start bringing them over to my house to let them play with my two Yorkies and maybe it will help them some. I just don't know how they are going to take the loss of their mom and it worries me.

It was yesterday that I spent most of the day with her. Here is a picture of Scamper, the male Yorkie that I was able to get just a tiny smile out of. He usually smiles really big, but he is such a sad boy now. My heart is breaking for all of them.

What beautiful babies she has! I'm sure they give her alot of comfort and having such a wonderful friend like you makes the day brighter, I'm sure.

Funny, how dogs know when something is wrong, especially with the people they love.

I am sorry to hear about your friend. Very sad story....My Mother in law has cancer that is in the 4th stage...and she has a pup that has been like her constant shadow since she started the Chemo last year. I think he is a great comfort to her on her tougher days.
