Weimaraner Puppy Pics, as promised
Well, I did get to Spirit's breeder's home on Thursday and saw the new litter of ten. I'm pretty sure one of these girls will indeed be "Whisper" just not sure which one yet. I prefer Gray and Coral girl at this time, but that could definitely change. The breeders are not sure if they're taking a boy or a girl at this point, so I may have 2nd or 1st pick of girls, depending.

YAY!! The puppies.
They are sooooo adorable. It's going to be hard picking one out. I think i'd have to close my eyes and just point somewhere...LOL.
Must have been wonderful being around all of them.....I'd be in heaven with all that puppy breath!

Not sure why, but i'm quite partial to that little boy with the purple collar!! Something made my eyes keep wandering back to that pic. But they are all absolutely adorable!

They are precious! It would be too, too hard for me to pick one! I'd fall in love with them all and wait to see the personality that catches me. Of course, that is also another reason why I'll never get into conformation showing or breeding!

LOL! This is going to be an extremely difficult choice and wil probably come down to personality.

White girl, who I don't have a picture of is very cute, but she is also very dominant and very sassy. She's out of the running. I wouldn't mind a boy, but they are all spoken for, and for my breeding program I would like a girl, so that cuts the four boys out, who are all stunning!! (Look like their daddy). Then there is yellow, pink, gray and coral. Both gray and coral had very loving persoanlities that I was drawn to right away. The breeder felt both would have personalities more like Topper and Jazz, which is what I would prefer...
I'll be going back in about a week to look at them again, at about 5.5 weeks, and then I'll be bringing one home (I assume) at 7.5 weeks, which corresponds with our hunt test and retriever ratings in Northern Wisconsin.
When the pups are evaluated we'll look at shoulders and necks and stifles and angulation, and I will take that into account when I also look at personalities, biddability, drive and confidence. The one that fits what we're looking for in conformation and also has the other abilities we'd like is going to be "Whisper", and if I had to put money on it, I'd say it will be Coral or Gray, leaning towards Coral.

Ahh they are gorgeous. I think I slightly prefer gray girl, lovely shoulder and front !! Actually they are both gorgeous and all seem to have lovely rear angulation!
