Aww they're all so gorgeous!

That photo of Paris by herself is so cute! The white around Bradley's face reminds me of how Harley's face looks.
Do you know how old Lucy is? Her photos makes me feel like giving her a big hug!

You know, I have no clue how old she is!! I would think she was an old girl (the vet guessed atleast 5 years old) but she acts like a puppy a lot of the time! She plays with my hand like a puppy, she barks and growls like a puppy..her personality is so puppy like. She was very neglected, and malnourished...if she eats ONE tiny thing that is human food, she gets very runny stools, and she vomits.

Yeah, I love Brad's white face!! He turned 8 November 1st, so an old boy!

Yeah, Abby (my Chi) acts SO much like a puppy and she's 6 years old. I love her personality, and I'm guessing her and Lucy must be quite alike. It's sad to hear how she was treated, though. I could never be able to comprehend why or how someone would treat an animal that way.

Harley turned 11 last month (Feb 17th). Does Bradley seem like an old dog in relation to his activity level or health? Harley's quite healthy but he's definitely slowed down and become more grumpy as the years have passed. But saying that, he has also become more 'sooky' and loves to be in our company. When my mum or stepdad leave the house he waits at the front door for them until they return.

Bradley is not very active, and actually has arthritis now, its better than it was though.

Harry (11 in June) is extremely active, and Very healthy! He has always been active!

Shan: No, I don't breed dachshunds. My mom had bred two dachshunds ;Jannah (the puppies we kept are Bob and Reese, almost 2 years old), and Janet who passed away in 2004. Elliot and Daggett (7 years old) are the puppies of hers we kept. Harry is the father of both litters.

Harry was in a stud service, and was bred with one female 2 times (Once a year). Cartman came from DeeDee (the female from the stud service)'s last litter.

My mom has now stopped breeding anything, and only wants rescue dogs from now on. Me, I never wanted her to breed any of them in the first palce..but atleast she doesn't anymore.
And we live in the city, but they don't enforce the pet laws very well over here, as long as the animals are cared for they really don't care how many you have.

Aww poor boy!

I'm glad to hear it's better, though. I wonder how he copes in the cold winter weather. Harley has hypothyroidism so he's slowed down a lot since he was diagnosed (when he was about 7 or 8). He was SUCH a hyper dog before he had hypothyroidism.

Harry's the Dachshund who loves balls, right? He does seem like a very energetic (active) dog.

Where I live we can only have 3 to a house and anymore than that you have to get a kennel license

Yepp,Harry is a fetch-o-holic! Not just balls though, he will fetch anything. On occasion, he gets a hold of a COMFORTER and drags it around the backyard, drops it on the floor, and stares at me as if I am going to throw it. lol. It amazes me how young he acts! We took him to the vet for a check up (He has NEVER been to the vet for a health problem) and the vet assistant checked his teeth, and asked how old he was..and was shocked when I said almost 11! Everyone at the dog park doesn't believe hes 11 when they see him run after a tennis ball! lol. He has slowed down though, he sleeps more often then he ever did, just these past couple of years. He still fetches almost the entire time hes awake though!

And Shan, 4's the limit here..But my neighbor across the street from me has 6, 4 doors down has 5 BORDER COLLIES!! That woman is crazy lol! Luckily, she works those dogs constantly, or else I am sure they would go mad! THis is a very large city, most people don't abide by the actual law. And actually, me and my mom are working on saving up money (I am taking prerequisites for the LVN program, which I am sure I will pass.) to move out to the country, and get ourselves some acreage! I think my dogs would be very happy with acres to run on!

Bob kept waking my mom up (She went to bed really early tonight, and the dogs got confused.) So he's sleeping with me tonight..So I snapped some pictures! Hes such a handsome man, and looks just like his daddy!

I like Brad's reaction "Whats this puppy doing in here?!"
