Update on Simetra stand

Simetra has been doing great in learning to stand! I can now get her to stand and i can walk a little circle around her without her sitting down. She is a lot more relaxed while standing, probably something to do with getting a groom with a massage session every day, but only if she stands while i do it. I got some picture to show how much more relaxed she is:

I can also almost get her to stack up for me, too! I dont have pictures of it yet, though. Soon i will go take better pictures of her standing (and maybe stacked) in the sunshine. These were rushy pictures because A.j. wanted to eat his breakfast.

Thank you to everyone who gave me advice on teaching a dog to stand!

Yeah, she always looks sad, but if you bend down, she instantly licks you and starts wiggling.

I think its her droopy eyes that make her look sad.

Im very proud of her! Shes a lot more confident in everything else, too. Its a lot harder to scare her now.

I agree, she's looking much more confident now compared to her old photo. What a difference in her demeanour!

Keep up the great work with her, it looks like it's definitely paying off!

I have another great update!
Every night i feed the springers their dinner then after their done i give them one treat (used to be 5 treats, but they started gaining weight) for a trick. I was tired and wasnt really thinking, but i just said stand. Simetra did it! I didnt even hold the treat out to her! I am SO proud of her. She made A.j. look like a retard.

He was just sitting there like "What does that mean?". I still need to teach him to stand on command. Simetra wasnt nervous at all when she stood up, she just stood up and perked her ears, wanting her treat.
The best part, though, is that i havent been giving her lessons. Just about 2 times a day i would just make her stand (once for grooming and once after dinner sometimes) and praise her. I think i will start up her training sessions again, its been hot enough that i cant do very long lessons, so i think i can manage 3 dog sessions a day now.
