I had to brighten this picture so that you could see the doe, but she was about 100 feet away from me and Orchid in the middle of the trail.

Great photos - especially the sunset at the end.

I wish we had somewhere like that around here to walk through, I think I need to pack up the car and go exploring a bit!!

Awww, thanks guys! I tried my hand at amature photography, LOL!

It is a really pretty place to walk. Sometime I'll have to go before 7:45 p.m. so you can see a bit more in the pictures.

There are also streams and ponds and that like that I wasn't able to get good pictures of due to the lack of light.

Orchid and I were really stunned when at the end of the walk we saw that herd of deer! There were two bucks (one was at least a 6 pointer) and that doe. The camera malfunctioned when I tried to take a picture of the bucks, but then finally it snapped two pictures of the doe (one of which looked terrible and didn't turn out well at all).

Anyway, I'm really glad you enjoyed my pictures!

Orchid looks great as well as the doe and the scenery. how old is orchid now?

Thanks! She was born in March of 06, so she's a year and three months.

Thanks for thinking she looks good.

She's been out of coat since February, really (which is about when I took that picture in the avatar). She had a heat cycle, then came summer and almost ALL of her undercoat is gone.

We went to a puppy match on Saturday, and my mentor was like, "I can feel her skin through her coat!"

...Orchid is so sweet i love the sun set...i do that in the blue mountins...my dog loves it i also watch the sun set too..

What beautiful pictures! Gorgeous scenery! And Orchid is cuter than ever

The scenery looks very similar to where my grandma used to live when she had a house in North Carolina. They had her house built there, and my aunt had a house built right next door. They lived there for quite some time. It was gorgeous.

Well, we live in Ohio, but in the summer you can't hardly tell the difference in the more eastern states.

Here tonight we're going to try out a different park. Hopefully, it will be as challenging and pretty.

And to Kenya and Mastiff- again, thanks for thinking she's pretty. She's a great dog in general, but I have to say that her sweet face definately hides her devilish side!!!

Sometime, I'll have to get pictures of her playing in her food, or disemboweling a new toy. She's very bad, but that's why I love her so much.
