This is the new guy staying with us. Not sure how long for, but we're in no hurry to get rid of him

I know the owners, it's kind of a "the shoe makers kids go barefoot" type thing. They have so many dogs in for training from other places that some of their own don't get all the time they deserve. he's not neglected or anything, I just really really liked him, from the first time I saw him. He was spending most of his time in the kennel, and I asked if I could take him home and the owners loved the idea.

I'm just showing him new things and doing some OB, he hasn't had much but bitework and tracking. He's a great dog. Very affectionate, good nerves. He's a little unsure of some new things, mostly things "inside" and on new floors. But outside nothing phases him, but that's where he's always been. But we're getting thru that pretty easily.

and NO, the cats didn't move for me, and I didn't get to take a nap. Even though they were the reason for me needing one, cause they think i'm a big play thing at 3 in the A.M. and wake me up, sometimes in a not so nice way, with claws dug into my feet while they're hanging off the end of the bed. That'll wake a man up in a hurry, let me tell you.

Your new GSD is stunning! How old is he, young I assume. Anyways, good luck with the training. My experience with the breed has taught me that they are fast learners and always wanting to please!
