This is Lukka, my friend's 2 year old Caucasian Ovcharka. She hasnt met the boys yet but hopefully soon she will get a play date with them!

GREAT pictures!! I don't know how people do it with dogs with that much hair. lol They're so beautiful but I know I could never have one. Hehe. Love the Halloween and snow pics too. You got some great shots lately! Thanks for sharing.

Those pictures are awesome! The boys are looking very handsome! Are their winter coats coming in? Ronan looks a bit fluffy around his neck

Now THAT'S a BIG doggums!!!!! Wow! Your pictures are just beautiful as usual. I especiall LOVE the 7th one up or 9th down. What a shot. Your amazing with that camera. The snow pictures are beautiful! Wish we could have a white Christmas, but that will never happen where I live. Sad.

Sarah, yes their winter coats are coming in nice and thick but with Ronan, its a combination of winter coat coming in and his coat in general "healing". HIs old owners fed him very low grade food throughout his life (just didnt know any better) and allowed him to spend a LOT of time in the sun. For red-coated Siberians, that's horror for their coats. They dry to a crisp. To make matters worse Ronan also had a flat buckle collar on most of the time which broke the dry crispy hairs around his neck. Combination of feeding a better quality diet, keeping collars of as much as possible and not letting him sun bathe so much has done numbers to improve his coat. I wish I could show the difference but it is really tough to tell the difference in pictures. Basically his coat arouns his neck was so bad you could mistake it for a Cairn Terrier's. BTW, you know you and the pus are always welcome!

Sarah, sometimes they actually are supposed to be a creamy orange colour, just depends on the particular dog. With Ronan, he's supposed to dark liver in winter and liver/orange in the summer. Before I took him he was a flame orange year-round cause his coat was so dried out! Yuck!

Hehehe I'd be all a tithy if his coat didnt repair itself with the diet I feed LOL And hey, they dogs sure love the high meat content
