Dudley's first snow

We got our first big snow storm yesterday, and I am pretty sure this is the first time Dudley has seen snow (he was transfered from Alabama in May when he was about 6 months). He loved it. He actually wanted to go out by himself (he never wants to, and when I let him out he will sit and stare at me through the slider, he never plays by himself). We didn't get a walk in yesterday, the weather was too awful to take the baby out, and even today the sidewalks are not shoveled so I knew I wouldn't be able to go out with the stroller, so when the baby went down for his nap me and Dudley went and played some soccer. Here are the pics.

That's awesome, our dogs hate snow Dudley is having a wonderful time. Time to slap on the skies

Does he try to catch the snow as it is falling or catch snowballs. I miss having dogs who like the snow.

The first snow is always the best!!!!
When Shadow was little he made me think of a snow plow...head down low, mouth wide open and full speed ahead.

What great photos! Dudley looks like he is having a blast!

We are supposed to get 2-4 inches of snow tomorrow and I'm anxious to see how Chloe does as this is her first winter. Blackie LOVES snow and makes "doggy angels", Rose doesn't like it one bit ("Mo-om, its cold, and wet, and it sticks to my fur..."), and Sadie LOVED it as well seeing how how she was born and raised in the winter time with snow on the ground. lol I can't decide if Chloe will hate it like Rose or love it like the Labs.

We just had snow here, it was the first time for us with the dogs in the snow, but it was also our younger puppy's first snow. It was so much fun!! They both love it! We also drove across our state, and we have to drive over mountains. We were able to stop and let the puppies out in the snow, most of it was higher then our youngest dog is tall...so you saw black-white-black-white...it was so funny to watch!

The pics of Dudley are so cute!!

The day of the actual storm, I just let him out by himself and watched from the window. It was the funniest thing. He was running around like crazy, doing his play bow to the snow flakes, rolling around in it until he was completely covered in white, he would want to come in, then 5 minutes later he wanted to go out again. Yesterday I was kicking the snow up in the air and he would jump up to try to catch it (that dog can jump), he was so cute, looking all serious waiting for me to kick the soccer ball, while his face was covered in snow. Of course he decided he needed to pee everywhere, including on the stair landing, and about every third step, lol.
