Info on Siggie pics

Hey, all! This thread is for everybody who doesn't yet know how to post pics in their sigs, and avatars.

First off, if you'd like a siggie pic, and don't have one, we have several great siggie makers here on GP, and they'd be glad to make you one with your pics! Each has their own special and unique style, so take a look at all of them. They're all terrific anyway, so whichever you pick, you'll end up with a great sig!!

Okay, onto business. For your avatars: Click on "user cp", and then, click "edit avatar". If your image is in your computer already, click on "browse", and then find your image, and click "open". Then, you click "save changes", and voila', there's your avi!

For your sigs: if your image is in your computer, upload it to a site like www.tinypic.com, and then write down your url. Click on "user cp", and then click "edit sig". Click insert image, enter your url, and you're done! If you choose to have one of our siggie makers here at GP make you a sig (like my own), right click your image after they have posted it for you, and click "properties". Write down your url, click "user cp", "edit sig", "insert image", write your url, and ta-da!! Your sig is done!!!

If your Avatar picture is on a website already, just enter the url. No need to host it. The same goes for Siggie pictures.

highlight what you want to copy and right click and goto copy and get to wherever you wanna put it right click and push paste!

How does one resize the pictures in the gallery for use in their signature? The picture is too large and the thumbnail is too small. Should I upload a smaller picture?

Heres a link to a thread where you can download a image resizer if you don't have one. Its a good one, I've used it. Its mihov.

I do have a program to make it smaller, if that is what I have to do? Make it smaller on my computer and then upload the smaller picture?

Yep. You got it.

Thats what you need to do. I usually resize my around 200 pixels.
