Happy 2nd Birthday River!
It's River's 2nd birthday today and I can't believe how quickly this year has gone I still remember posting about his first birthday!!

I'm so lucky to have him in our family - he's always making us laugh, keeping me on my toes and he's just so much fun to have around, he's definitely one in a million and I couldn't have hoped for a better dog

Here's my little goofball modelling his birthday hat:


Of course his birthday meant a trip to his favourite place in the world - the beach and here are some of our photos from today:





His favourite past time - chasing birds - even the ball gets forgotten for this!










Back at home it was present time - he managed to get them all out on his own this year:




And lastly him with his presents:



We're back off to the beach tonight and home for cake - he's so spoilt!!

LOL It is sad, isn't it, when the only way you remember a birthday is because it relates to your pet in some way. For the longest time I kept getting my mom's birthday confused with my dad's (they were both born in Jan.) until I got my old Guinea Pig...her birthday was the same day as my mom's and I've never forgotten it since!
