New toy for Abby!

I think Abby is in heaven with the squeaky and scrunchy squirrel toy I got her for Christmas!

At first she was unsure of it, but now she's OBSESSED with it!! It's Nuts, the Doggie Beanie Baby (it was so cheap, I got it for $5.00 from the Pet Expo!). It's got a squeaker in the middle, and it's tail is full of celophane or something that makes scrunchy noises, so she is obsessed with the squirrel's tail and bum.

I know Ty Beanie Babies are very popular in the US, and I think this makes a GREAT gift for a little dog. I got Abby this toy just in time, cause her pink squeaky bone has been torn to shreds, by her (who could think such a little dog could do so much damage!

She won't leave it alone!

It's the first toy she plays with in the morning. We bought her a whole bunch of squeaky toys, but she's hardly touched those.

Get that squirrel! Abby sure loves her new toy, she is so focused.

I'll have to look into the doggie beenie babies, we have gone through the regular ones and they are sure messy with the "beans" in the rear, they go everywhere.

Dogs4Life, you should definitely have a look at these toys. They are great because the eyes are just cotton (not the beady eyes like the original BB's have), and I'm pretty sure there are no beans in them. It looks just like the 'real' Nuts, but a dog-friendly version.

We only discovered that Abby loved softtoys when I bought a cheapo one shaped like a bone last year (that's the one that she eventually ripped apart). She goes absolutely crazy over them, and we never knew until now! Abby is such a little puppy the way she loves playing. Harley, on the other hand, has no interest at all in toys (he used to, up until he was about 4, and then just lost complete interest).
