Agility Lesson

My new riding instructor does agility with her jack russel, and I was able to tag along today and take pictures.

The border collies are the teachers dogs...and they are SO fast I could barely keep up with them with the camera. If she was thinking up a corse to have them do or explaining something to someone they would just go jump the jumps and run thorugh the tunnels trying to occupy themselves. They loved being out there.

The end.

My husband would dearl LOVE to have a Border Collie, but unless he retires and keeps it extremely well exercised and trained, it won't happen. I don't have the time nor the energy for one of those dogs.

What cool photos! Do you think you'll ever bring Mandi along one day? I don't think I could ever have a Border Collie... they don't have an 'off switch'! They're always go, go, go! Aren't they!! They are gorgeous dogs though.

They are definetely gorgeous! I don't think they planned on slowing down anytime soon either. LOL The one that does have tan on face is 12 years old and he did NOT miss a beat.

I am going to bring Mandi to the next one..it was a lot of fun. I am not sure if she would really enjoy the whole 'jumping' over things but we will see--she is sort of a princess. (she came this time, but since it was below freezing and I was just standing still I let her stay warm in the car--felt so bad with her shivering in my lap )
