Walkies! (IMG HEAVY)

I took the doggies to the big park near my house two weeks ago. It was such a BOILING HOT day, and I got pretty sunburnt on my shoulders, even though I tried to stay out of the sun as much as possible... Anyway, here are lots of photos of Harley and Abby (and a few other dogs) enjoying their walk at their favourite park (you can see the huge smiles on their faces! ):

Thanks Rivsky! They really enjoyed their walk, we were out there for 2 1/2 hours.

Well, technically it's not a new lense, but I haven't had the opportunity to use it much since I got it. The lense is a 75-300mm lense, so can only really be used for shots taken at a distance. It's a great lense! I used it a bit when I was in New Zealand.

Thanks Jamila! They definitely love it out at that park. It was so funny, as soon as we (my mum and I) got home and opened the door, Harley took one step inside and just flopped to the ground! He was so tired from the walk.

Sorry Dave, I missed your post! Thanks for the comments! Harley sure is an old fella. He's going to be 13 years old in one months time! When the dogs are let off the lead, Harley usually sticks close by to us these days, but Abby's so independent - she loves going off and exploring, and walking through all the grass and bushes.

WOW, hot dogs they are!! Not even the heat kept them from having a good time. That water is so close I'm surprised they didn't join the lab and have a good swim and cool off. That empty water bottle was used to throw into the water and have the dog retrieve it. I think if I had been there I would have jumped in too. I don't do well in heat.
I love the picture of Abby and Harley walking down the walk like they were going home. Too cute. I don't blame Abby for staying in the cool grass.........smart girl. Great pictures!! Thank you for sharing them.

Thanks Calgal! Harley and Abby never jump in the water (and I'm glad, cause I'd be freaking out majorly!) That's an inlet of water from the ocean. There are jellyfish in the water, and boats, and the water is pretty polluted I believe. Yeah, the guy tossed the waterbottle into the water for his lab, but the lab didn't want to get it! There are steep-ish embankments on the side, and the lab didn't want to jump.
