Summer's here!

So while it technically isn't summer yet, the dogs say it is. You know it is summer when you have more lazy pooches who would rather take a dip and lay in the shade than go for a walk or play.

Beautiful Chloe (had a bath earlier this morning so is now all poofy) enjoying the shade of our birch tree.

Rose wet from swimming in a neighbor's pond and not too happy that I wanted to take a picture (she wouldn't even acknowledge me):

Blackie, also wet from taking a dip, found an old beef bone laying around and decided it was time for a snack in the shade of a lilac bush:

After his snack he decided to take a nice nap, but then he spotted the hidden camera-lady waiting to snap is picture. "What're you look'n at?":

Rose decided the heat of the sun wasn't comfy enough, so she went up onto our porch to catch some Z's. She still refused to acknowledge my presence:

Chloe also decided to get some shut-eye, but in the process, looked like a cute and adorable teddy bear!:

Great pictures! I know what you mean about lazy--Mandi the other day at agility instead of doing her weaves like she was asked, decided to just lay down in the shade and roll in the grass! :O

Maybe that was why she is ignoring me. "Get this thing out of my face, I want to sun bathe, you idiot." Of course, she also might have been mad because she did get up to say hello when I walked out the door but I told her to go lay back down because I wanted a picture.

LOL It isn't even that hot here yet (it was 85*F the day I took those pictures, but low humidity and a nice breeze), and Chloe has decided she can run after a ball three times, and then she must rest in the shade.
