"Medal"
River recently managed to alert my OH and I to a brush fence fire out the front of our place which had ignited 2 of our neighbours' cars at 3am a few weeks back and our neighbours were so grateful to him for raising the alarm before it reached the building that they gave him a little "medal" for his efforts which I thought was really sweet:



They also got him a voucher for a pet shop so of course I then got him to pose for some photos so I could give them a thank you card with his loot. Much to Riv's disgust I managed to borrow a fire hat as well - poor boy is a hero and I'm still making him pose for photos Lucky for me he was desperate for some of those dog chocs!!!
