Happy 4th everyone!

We picked our new car up yesterday, and the girls really love it. They are so happy with the lookout bench seat and it's so much more comfortable for them.
Comming back thru Santa Barbara I took some pictures of a fire. The fire there are really bad.

I'm still trying to figure out how you would have known it is a Lexus. Tell me.

Anyway, yes it is. 09 Lexus RX 350 premium + package. Bamboo Pearl with ivory leather interior. It's so beautiful and rides and drives like a dream.

I just took a wild guess!

We have a Lexus as well, and I just recognised the leather and seat design. Our Lexus has the same colour leather for the interior (that light creamy/beige colour). They're comfy cars, aren't they!

That fire is bad!! I live in a valley (fresno) and above us in the foothills there was a nasty horrible fire, that entire day it looked like our city was covered in fog (Nasty, dark smokey fog. Everyone I know had a nasty cough the next week.

Yes, they are VERY comfy!!

And heated seats. How long did it take you to learn all about the navagation system? Now when we go on a trip, we just set it and if hubby takes a wrong turn it will tell him so. hahaha!! Gotta love that feature alone. I love the idea of putting hundreds of names and telephone numbers in it and all I have to do is tell it to call "so and so" and it's hands free talking. I also love the windows that will not mash any fingers or anything going up. Soon as they get close to anything in the way, they go back down. And the back up system that lets you see what's in the back and tells you if you get too close. The back seats are also powered to go back and forth. Many many more things on this car that most cars don't have. I love it!!

Please be very careful. There are lots of people in the hospital because of the smoke now. We are about 40 miles from Santa Barbara and still it's really overcast here and we haven't seen bright sunshine in days. Stay safe.

Maybe thats why I have been so dehydrated lately. I am definitely staying indoors, and the dogs are inside most of the day I just let them out for about 5 minutes to go to the bathroom every couple of hours.

Hehe we are putting the heated seats to good use this winter!!

I don't actually drive. We've had our car for about 1 year now and we didn't get the navigation system in it. Ours is a "luxury sedan" according to the website... I don't know much about cars
