Aww Ariat is absolutely gorgeous!!
Did you, by chance, get his name from the Ariat boots brand? Oh and I LOVE barrel racing, it's so much fun! Your horse looks so nice. |

haha her name definetly came from my favorite boots
my other fav are roper chunks, but roper didnt suit her. lol! when people get their dogs out of saddle club they generally give them a western name. i will post more pics as they come. thanks for all the compliments on aries! |

Stunning pup and stunning horse!
Is he a quarter horse? My friend has horses, but she rides english, not western. She does dressage and jumping, but I've always been fond of barrel racing myself. Never tried it though. |

hes actually a breeding stock paint (paint born without the spots) so yeah he's basically a quarter horse. his sire was a paint (with spots
) and his dam was a quarter horse. i also do dressage on him (which he does quite well with, always in the placings, took 2nd this year at fair) and have starting jumping him too. |
