Piggy pictures!

Thanks to a new computer, I can actually upload pictures in a reasonable amount of time so here is the first of many new pictures of my crew. These pictures are all of my Guinea pigs, but the new piggy is so cute you have to see them. lol And I also snapped a short video of the infamous Guinea Pig "wheek", for those of you who have never had the pleasure of hearing it.

"Dot" (aka Peppermint Patty) is the fuzzy whacked out 'doo white one. Lucy is the grey and white fat one. Lucy is around four years old and Dot is around eight months old. I am so glad I finally got another Guinea Pig. Just after one night Lucy is sooo much happier to have a buddy. She's been wheeking and running around more often.

Lucy wasn't holding stil, so her pictures aren't as good as Dot's, but oh well.

And the video! Lucy is the main Wheeker, but Dot started in on it too. She wasn't near as loud as Lucy though. They started wheeking because my sister walked into the room. She is the one who says, "Wow." lol:

I've never had a Guinea Pig, they seem like such great pets though.

They are the best little critters! I am slowly becoming a Guinea pig fanatic. LOL I love ferrets too, but these little squeekers have got to be one of the best pets I've ever had. My mom and I redid the petwing so there is the lamanite flooring and only the Guinea Pigs (plus Pikachu) in the wing so they can have lots of floor time. That flooring is heaven to me...I can just sweep up all of their little poops and the hay I set down for them, and if they pee it just wipes up....no vaccuming and carpet blotting needed!

haha my sis has a guinea pig i named romeo, but we just mainly call him tweak wheet. he makes those same noises all the time and tweaks out a lot and runs around like crazy. they are some amuzing critters and urs are adorable

is Dot a peruvian or a abyssian? Her coat is just adorable. I've only been here about a day and I already found another guinea pig fanatic. yay!

Dot seems to have settled in nicely to her new home!

I think she is a mix of both. She's a rescue so I don't know for sure, but she has the rosettes like an Aby and the long hair like a Peruvian. I think it is a cute mix; makes her look really unique.
