Meet Cinder!

This is my Aunt Sue's dog Cinder. Cinder is a rescue, and they rescued her about 8 years ago. Cinder had been found in the middle of Lake Superior all alone next to an ice hole. They didn't know if she was abandoned or if her owner fell through the ice. They searched for a body in the water, but one was never found. Cinder doesn't like anyone but her family, (My aunt, uncle, 2 cousins, then my grandma Ann) and me. Somehow she likes me. Even though when I was little she would always nip and bite at me, but now if me and my mom go to there house she will sit and bark and growl at my mom while she gets all happy to see me. She hates men! VERY MUCH! My mom's boyfriend (The stupid one with the GSD) bugs Cinder alot, so I wouldn't be surprised with him. We, well I, guessed she is a GSD/Australian Cattle Dog mix. She is a shy, but very smart dog! She knows tons a tricks. Sit, Crawl, Dead Dog, Lay, What does Godzilla say?, Sing, High Five, Shake, Roll Over, Touch, Kiss, plus maybe 20+ more. Even though she is nervous she never trys to bite, she just barks alot, and goes with someone she likes.

She definately a little beauty! She must have been abused before she was found. Maybe no one fell into the ice hole. She may have been running away from someone who could have been a man from the sounds of things. Well she sure has a wonderful home now. She was a very lucky lady.

What an interesting story! Well I'm glad that someone was willing to care for her. It would be interesting to know what happened to her owner though. She sure is a cutie!
