Pictures of the whole group *tons*

I finally was able to get my camera charged, so I went around and snapped pictures of every furred and feathered creature living under our care. So prepare for picture overload!

First off, the Piggies. Louie and Dot are now being caged together and make the cutest couple. Louie is the SWEETEST little guy. He just talks and talks and talks and when he is out on the floor he'll follow me around. He LOVES his veggies and lets me know all about it. If he is curious about something he doesn't hesitate to stand up on his hind legs to check it out. I swear he is Lucy reincarnate. I'm so glad I picked him out. (And for anyone interested, Louie is a two year old Silkie and Dot is a nine month old Peruvian/Abyssian(sp) mix.)






Next, Pikachu. I've "given" him to my sister to care for (with me overseeing) as she wanted a hamster and I was already spending all of my spare time taking care of the dogs, ferrets, and piggies. Basically nothing has changed except that she has bragging rights and has to clean his cage. LOL He'll be one this December.




The Ferrets. Casey (the dark sable) is going to be four this January and Dameon will be three. Dameon has really gotten bitey and has actually chased people out of my room before (which I find halarious that a 2 pound ferret can terrify a 140lb person). The only person he won't bite at constantly is me and I think that is because I don't scream and run from him. Although if I make him mad he will hiss at me and shoot me dirty looks. I named him very well, I think. Casey is as sweet as always and constantly getting into things.






This is Tobias, my brother's Gerbil. Evil little thing. The whole time I was trying to get these pictures I was thinking, "Please, please don't eat me. Please." He definitally has an attitude problem. I think he is around two years old, but I'm not sure.



Joey (aka Joseph, Mommy's Pretty Bird; or as he says, "Joey's a pretty bird"). I just moved him out of his old cage into a HUGE flight cage that I got from the lady I adopted Dot and Louie from. He has so much space he doesn't know what to do with it. He looks tiny in his cage now. LOL Joey just turned two, I think.




Pheobe, my mom and sister's "Evil Baby Kitten". She's almost a year and a half old now. Still has an attitude problem. She is terrified of any dog except Chloe, whom she torments as often as she can. Poor Chloe just takes it all.

Now for Chloe. I don't know if I've ever shown you guys the merling pattern she has on her back, so I snapped a picture for you that shows it quite well. The last picture is her "watch dog" face. There were people out in our feild harvesting hay and she wasn't too sure about it. She's a year and a half old now.





Here's Rose. I LOVE these pictures of her...I did a little fast pace whistle and she'd perk her ears up at me and give me a look. I love her ears - they flop when she is at rest but when she perks them up they can't decide if they want to stand up straight or not. Rose will be ten in October.




And last, but not least, Blackie. He isn't feeling too good today so he was just lazing around and didn't want to move. He wasn't too enthused about anything - even me saying his name just gave me barely a wag. But, being a typical Lab, he did find it in his heart to lick up some grease that was in the grass from Dad's grill. He's twelve and a half:

Blackie kind of reminds me of a "gangstah" dog. You know, how they tattoo a teardrop on their face when they "bustah cap" . (2nd to the last pic of him) He seems quite the relaxed canine.

How did you get all the vermin-meisters to stand still to take pic's of them? I still hold Dameon in contempt for previous actions, but I will bow to the judgement of "instinctual behavior" and leave it at that. (I still would have made a scarf out of him).

Is Pikachu a teddybear hamster? I haven't seen of those in years. Very cute as well!

Also, funny how Rose does not look her age (seriously) the ears look like they never caught up to her..lol.

I may have missed a previous thread, but what did you decide with the obedience classes with the Chloe-meister?

Joey is such a beautiful bird! We used to have several birds when I was younger, but my cockatiels, Rosie & Pepper, weren't as pretty as Joey!

I meant to comment before on Joey's new cage... it looks amazing! Joey is such a pretty colour. I've never seen a cockatiel with his colouring before.. I've only seen the 'normal' ones with red cheeks and yellow.

LOL Ya, he has some fur loss under his eye for some reason...I think he got bit or scratched by something and it is just now starting to re-fur. He is a very relaxed pooch. Wasn't when he was younger (CRAZY - like Chloe lol) but now that he is a senior he is a VERY good boy.

That nice picture of Casey (not of her head) was taken when she had just woke up so she was still tired....and Dameon? Treats, my friend, treats. He is the most food driven creature I've ever seen. Although that picture of him scratching was just pure luck. I thought about being mad at him or rehoming him, but I just can't. It wasn't his fault, but mine. Evil or no, he's still mine. And besides that, if I rehome him, how else can I keep siblings and parents out of my room? (But the ferret cage is now bomb proof. He can't get out even if he tries.)

Nope, he's a Russian Dwarf. I love Russian Dwarfs.

I'm going to wait until the summer. Adding another thing to my schedule right now isn't a good idea. We are going to work more on basic obedience at home though.

That stinks that you can't have them. They are great little critters. Much prefer dwarf Hammies to Gerbils though...or maybe Tobias is just evil. LOL

I think he is a white faced pied/pearl. I love his markings. He loves his markings too. His favorite thing to say is, "Joey's a pretty bird!" and then wolf whistle.
