The Black Lab is Neka's best friend Sarge. They are always chasing each other around and wrestling in the yard.

The white Shepherd in one of the other pictures was Chip's Best Friend when Chip was alive. When He and Chip were young they used to play the same way, so watching Neka and Sarge play, reminds me of those times. It makes me smile and helps me remember Chip.

Thanks you guys ... Ya she's a really great dog.

In the spring of '07 when I came to grips with the fact that Chip was in his last days, I was really worried that I would never find another dog as good as him.

Shortly after his passing, I got Neka. I spent a lot of time with her and we bonded very quickly.

She is almost the exactly the photo negitive of Chip, but thats exactly what i was looking for. When i got her I wanted a dog that wouldn't remind me of him. By that I mean that I didn't want the new dog to live in Chip's shadow.

Chip was the kind that wanted to lay at your feet, hung out in the house, hated cold weather, loved treats and barked at anything that moved outside. Neka lays in the next room, Always wants to go outside, loves to play in the snow, could really care less about treats and only barks if you get within 25 feet of her.

The only thing that they both have in common is that they are both the perfect dog for me. Chip was, and Neka now is, a great friend, very obediant, loving and devoted toward me and living a happy life.

I'm sure that she knows that she is the most important part of my life, and I'm sure I'm the most important thing in her's ....
