My two daughters! First time sharing pix
Hi all,
I probably have never posted any pix here. Since the time I joined, I now feel comfortable to post up. These are my two lovely and loving daughters... Life, would NEVER be the same without them! |

They both had sad stories, one much sadder than the other and they were both adopted by my wife and me.
Beano's the older girl on the left, and Starfish, on the right went through 3 homes since the time she was 3 months, got beat up and went back to her 'grandparent's' home in taut skin and bones. Decided to keep it short. Beano, my first love, however, was 'stolen' by ma keneivin wife and I have since made her promise me that she wouldn't 'steal' Starfish from me! BTW, as stupendously corny as it sounds, no, I gave Starfish her name long before the Charlie's Angels movie reached here. It was because of the story of the old man on the beach and the starfishes. After a few weeks with us, after a 14 hour day at work and I came home and slumped down to the kitchen floor stroking Starfish on the kitchen floor and I suddenly thought of all the abused and abandoned dogs in the world, and how painful it was that we could only help so few in our limitations ... then it struck me that despite my romanticised musings, whatever 'little' we could do sure meant something to this little puppy lyinjg on the floor with me ... and the old man and the starfishes story invaded my mind and I almost scramed to my wife that I discovered the perfect name for her ... Eh, tried editing to correct mistakes, spellin or whatever ... I'm too zonked. It's 7.40am and I havent slept yet. |

Not only are you and your wife saints for giving these dogs such a loving home, but your spelling is fine. And what's more, your English, your grammar and your writing style are impeccable. I wish I had your skills!
Anyway, that was only one more picture. It's beautiful. Those dogs beam with happiness. BUT, WE WANT MORE!!! LOL. |

OK ... a few more pix! ENJOY!
HAHAHA! Carrie, now it's time for you to have me on! LOL!
Seriously, we wern;t the kind ones; God was by sending these two angles that have transformed our lives! Hmm ... I have different series of pix. Since I've featured pix of my girls in parks and grassy areas, here are a few more: See Daddy, who says we are equilibrium-ly challenged! Isn';t it obvious that we're holding our heads up straigh and tall? Starfish doing an impressive impersonation of Twiggy. Can't you see the look of love in my eyes? Hmm...actually I'm eying that Juicylicious burger Mommy's chomping on! AWWW Beano, you didn;t get any burger too?!! Don't worry...it's ok; I know how you feel! Let me nuzzle you ... Thanks for all the compliments. Like I told Carrie once, these girls did all the work. I was just the monkey who pressed the shutter! Oh Calgal, all these pix were taken with a Panasonic FZ-10 digital camera. Awesome camera that has a huge following in the US and Europe, and cheap for it's capabilities, especially it's Leica lens! Don;t bother with the upgraded FZ-20. It tries to do too much and gets compromised. |
